Our Gunsmithing Services

Housekeeping Rules For Submitting Firearms to Our Shop
When you bring your firearm to our shop for service, please ensure it is fully assembled, unloaded (including all magazines), and without a sling. Also, bring test fire ammo and at least one magazine if your gun uses them. Without the complete firearm and ammo, we may be unable to verify its safety and function after service. We may decline work if we can't test the safety. If we proceed, we’ll include a "use at your own risk" note on the invoice.
Housekeeping Rules for Including Test Fire Ammo
To ensure your firearm is safe and functional, we recommend shooting it. We try to stock basic ammo for testing, but please bring enough of your preferred ammo when dropping off your gun. We'll track the ammo and return any unused. For most jobs, 5-10 rounds are sufficient. If you can't provide ammo, we can buy it for you and add the cost to your invoice.
Our Policy on Bringing Loaded Guns Onsite
Safety is our priority, please confirm with Tim if your gun is loaded or jammed before bringing the weapon inside the building. The only exception is for holstered firearms, which must remain holstered during your visit. If you need service on your carry gun, please unload it before entering.
Our Shop Rates
We aim to provide fair prices and quality craftsmanship. Our hourly rate is $40 for general troubleshooting and services. The transfer fee is $30 for the first gun and $20 for each additional gun on the same form. After inspecting your firearm, we'll give you a verbal estimate. Please note that this estimate may change due to unforeseen issues during a closer inspection. We will contact you to discuss before proceeding with any work.
Firearms Repair and Maintenance
As an AGI Certified and licensed gunsmith, we provide basic repairs, including cleaning and minor fixes, with prices varying based on the job and required parts. Tim is also certified as a 1911 Pistolsmith, a Cowboy Action Armorer, and an AR-15/M4 Riflesmith. Please allow a turnaround time of 3-5 weeks, depending on our workload and whether additional parts are needed to complete the repair.
